Nintendo Switch Could Be A "Big Hit" But It Will Take Time

Nintendo Switch Could Be A

You don't have the dual screen setup on the Switch anymore and its controllers are a whole other thing entirely.

Wii U will go down as having fantastic content-the issue was as you look at the reality of exactly when the games were launched, there were large gaps in between. However, the firm expects that the demand for the console will be strong. In fact, the Nintendo Switch price is not going to stop 40 million people deciding to grab one of the new gaming machines, which is set to make its debut on March 3.

While there were initial skepticisms on the latest gaming platform from Nintendo, the Japanese gaming company is confident that the Switch would really fare better than the Wii U because of the obvious third party confidence on the gaming console. As reported by GI.biz, that's nearly three times as many consoles as the Wii U sold over its first four years. "However given the limited software and Nintendo's poor recent track record of introducing new products we have tempered our forecasts to be conservative", head of DFC Intelligence David Cole told GameIndustry.biz.

When the Switch was finally revealed back in October, Nintendo showed off an encouraging list of companies that were working on games for the system.

Some of Nintendo's game consoles and many of their game titles have been huge hits and performed well in the past.

According to Tech Radar, Nintendo Switch price is $299.99 for U.S., £279.99 for United Kingdom and AU$ 469.95.

These games have seen some retailers move from a £49.99 - £59.99 listing, to £44.99, £34.99 and £49.99 instead. Still, at least Switch owners will have the great-looking Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild to keep them occupied in those first few weeks.

The creators of the up-and-coming Hollow Knight have announced that this 2D platform and action adventure, backed up successfully by Kickstarter, will be released on the Nintendo Switch on a date yet to be specified.

Nintendo Switch will be launched with around 20 games at $300. Additionally included are 5-year figures for the Nintendo Switch including both equipment units and physical and advanced programming.

If you're on the fence about buying a Switch when it comes out, you have a bit of time to think about it. Pre-orders for the console sold out within days, and it's hard to know when or if more will be made available by retailers.
