Over 80 New Generation Two Pokemon are Coming to Pokemon GO

Over 80 New Generation Two Pokemon are Coming to Pokemon GO

Niantic is planning on bringing more impactful updates to the game, and the addition of over 80 Gen 2 Pokemon is just the stepping stone of a much larger project.

Niantic has today confirmed that 80 new Pokémon from Pokémon Gold and Silver will soon be added to Pokémon Go.

As we can see from the fancy new trailer, a whole bunch of new Pokemon are coming to our world. There will also be some new evolution items that can be used to evolve the new additions to the game. There are a bunch of other Pokemon from the Johto region that you'll be able to catch as well. Some of these will require new evolution items that can be found at Pokestops. Niantic didn't provide any specifics about this, but apparently they'll do more than just stand there with the occasional attack movement that can frustratingly knock precious Poke Balls right off the screen.

The update will also include new outfit and accessory options for Trainers, Niantic said.

New Berries will be thrown into the game too, Nanab berries will slow Pokemon down to make them easier to catch, while Pinap berries will double the amount of candy you receive upon successfully catching a Pokemon. "Trainers will also be able to customize their avatar's appearance with a new selection of hats, shirts, trousers and other items". If this update doesn't do it for you, what features need to be added to grab your interest again? Additional items will be available for purchase from the in-game shop.

There are more than 150 Pokemon to catch, and the new one will definitely entice trainers to refresh their memories.

Needless to mention, fans of the game are rather excited about the new update.
