Gareth Bale: Real Madrid midfielder banned for two matches after red card

Gareth Bale: Real Madrid midfielder banned for two matches after red card

Real Madrid will be without both Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo when they take on Eibar on Saturday.

Real Madrid's Gareth Bale has been banned for two games as punishment for the red card he was shown during Sunday's 3-3 draw with Las Palmas.

Marco Asensio hit the fourth on the hour with a rebound after James had struck the post.

In head to head analysis, Real Madrid has won four matches in last five against Eibar without any opponent's score as 4-0, 2-0, 3-0, and 4-0. Ronaldo reportedly blocked Pogba's move to Real Madrid last summer.

Bale will miss Real's La Liga clashes with Eibar on Saturday and Real Betis next weekend. We have a great group of young and experienced players, who are fighting for the same objectives.

"Whenever I came here as a visiting player I knew that Ipurua was a hard place to come given how the fans and the team get on top of you", Leon told reporters on Thursday.

But Benzema, who had not scored in his previous seven LaLiga games in his worst top-flight run for three years, struck twice to send the visitors on their way to a vital win in the title race. Eibar sits in a very respectable seventh.

"We have performed well in all of our home games and if we perform to a high standard, then we can make Real Madrid's life hard".

Real Madrid broke one Barcelona record earlier this season when they went on a 40-game unbeaten streak and now, they've broken another.

Eibar supporters applauded Modric when he left the pitch in the second half and this is what Zinedine Zidane thinks about the Croatian player: "It's not normal when the opponent supporters applaud to a player of your team. All of the games are important, but the key thing is that the players do well, so now we have to see what we're going to do with Cristiano", he said, according to the club's official website.
