SD cards can not be shared between Nintendo Switch consoles

SD cards can not be shared between Nintendo Switch consoles

We've heard a lot about the Nintendo Switch controllers this weekend, mostly because they refuse to work properly. All of this is possible because of the many input methods that the Nintendo Switch supports, including the touchscreen.

As The Verge notes, PC games don't recognize the Joy-Cons as viable controllers, which means you'll need to use a program like JoyToKey if you want to play with the Switch controllers on your computer. On the surface, it seems like the Switch has enjoyed a successful launch so far, and now GameStop is offering some insight as the USA's largest video game retailer.

Have you picked up a skin for your Nintendo Switch, Ranters? Games don't support it yet, but the Nintendo Switch software does. Some have also noticed temporary issues with the system's Joy-Con controller not responding.

There does not seem to be an equivalent note on the USA side of the Switch, which may mean that the policy isn't in effect here - or could just mean that Nintendo hasn't gotten around to updating its U.S. website. Third party skin manufacturer dbrand has officially warned consumers that both the Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons and the console itself are susceptible to cosmetic damage after switching between various skins. A check of Craigslist found several of the consoles for sale, but you are going to pay a premium.

2. A 3.7-volt 4310 mAh Li-ion battery powers the Nintendo Switch, easy to replace if damaged. The Nintendo 64 also followed up early the next year with Mario Kart 64 and Goldeneye 007 later on in the summer, two more wildly popular, trend-setting games, even as the Nintendo 64 was eclipsed by the original PlayStation. Because of this, the company made the bold move to officially recommend that consumers refrain from purchasing skins for the Nintendo Switch, while simultaneously cancelling and refunding every pre-order it had for Switch and Joy-Con skins.
