Andromeda's Animations Won't Be Patched At Launch

Andromeda's Animations Won't Be Patched At Launch

Ian Frazier, lead designer on Mass Effect Andromeda, updated fans about the game's day one patch on Twitter.

I'd like to bring you word that Mass Effect Andromeda is absolutely everything both fans and the mainstream gaming populace want it to be; a phantasmagorical concoction of fan-pleasing wish-fulfilment, boldly reintroducing such a storied and popular franchise to an entirely new generation. The description explains that Andromeda Points "can be used instead of the earned in-game currency to obtain new Multiplayer packs, which contain items used in the Multiplayer mode". This means everyone who picks up Mass Effect: Andromeda at launch can expect to see the same sorts of talking and walking animations shown in preliminary footage online.

Most, if not all, reports said that the issue is so bad that it affects the gameplay experience for every player. Apart from game information, you can also send out strike teams from the app to get in-game rewards for successful strike missions.

As the Xbox Games Store confirms, Mass Effect Andromeda will have multiplayer micro-transactions that range from $5 Dollars to $100 USD and give you 500 to 12,000 Andromeda Points.

Frazier didn't rule out the possibility of a facial animation patch; BioWare plans several patches for the future. However, it seems that Bioware has not fixed the problem the users' problems with the facial expressions. They will just stare blankly and blink at random intervals.

Mass Effect Andromeda will come out on March 21, 2017, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Therefore, those facial animations shall be prevalent in your playthrough.
