Drake admits he sent drunk texts to J.Lo

Drake admits he sent drunk texts to J.Lo

He told his fans that he was six or seven songs into his next project and added he was in the studio every night.

It features guest appearances from Kanye West, 2 Chainz, Travis Scott, Quavo, Young Thug, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Giggs and Skepta, among others.

In fact, the "Hotline Bling" artist is eschewing the term "album" entirely in reference to More Life, opting instead to call it a "playlist." And it shows on More Life.

Originally announced in October a year ago (16), the Hotline Bling hitmaker said More Life would be released at the end of February, however following months of delays and speculation, Drake finally revealed the official release date earlier this month.

The previously released track "Fake Love" will also appear on the project. In that opening track, he endearingly admits "I still drunk text J.Lo", a reference to his brief romance with Jennifer Lopez.

Well, Drake seemed to have Jlo in his mind all through the recording of the album because later, he sampled her 1999 song, "If You Had My Love" on the track titled 'Teenage Fever'. But on their supposed collaboration Get It Together, J. Lo's vocals are replaced by the rising United Kingdom singer Jorja Smith.

Drake seems to take his mom's advice to heart, suggesting on Do No Disturb that he'll slam the brakes on his whirlwind music career.

"More Life. More time with family and friends". And the good thing is more people will be able to hear the new sounds because "More Life" is not an Apple exclusive, which means you can stream Drake's new album on iTunes, Spotify and Amazon Unlimited.
